Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Terms & Billing
1.1 Memberships are recurring subscriptions billed in advance every month through myClubhouse via the payment method registered on the Member's account.
1.2 The Member may cancel memberships at any time, but must be submitted in writing (by email to The Recovery Lab UK) at least 7 days before the next billing date to avoid further charges.
1.3 Memberships may be suspended or cancelled at any time, without prior notice, at the sole discretion of The Recovery Lab UK for any breach of policy, safety concern, or business reason deemed necessary.
1.4 Membership fees, joining fees, promotions, and add-ons are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.5 Members are responsible for ensuring payment details and contact information held within their myClubhouse account remain accurate and up to date. Failed payments may result in suspension of access until settled.
2. Access & Fair Use
2.1 Memberships are personal, individual, and non-transferable. Sharing, reselling, or loaning a membership constitutes fraud and may result in immediate termination, permanent banning, and legal prosecution.
2.2 "Unlimited use" memberships are subject to a Fair Use Policy capped at 4 sessions per calendar week (Monday–Sunday). The Recovery Lab UK reserves the right to deny access or charge additional fees if this limit is exceeded.
2.3 All sessions must be booked in advance through myClubhouse. Members may only access facilities through the approved booking and access system. Unauthorised entry, forced access, or attempts to enter outside of a confirmed booking are treated as trespass.
2.4 Bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations are made via myClubhouse and are subject to the cancellation window published on the Booking System at the time of booking. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in additional fees or suspension of booking privileges.
3. Guests & Third-Party Access
3.1 No guests, friends, family members, or third parties may access or use the Studio without prior written approval.
3.2 Unauthorised guest entry will result in:

• Immediate suspension of the Member's account;

• A penalty fine charged to both the Member and the guest (minimum £250 each);

• Possible legal action for trespassing and damages.

4. Conduct & Equipment Use
4.1 Members must comply with all verbal, written, and digital safety instructions and signage at all times.
4.2 Members are strictly prohibited from tampering with or altering equipment, including but not limited to:

• Adjusting sauna, ice bath, or red light therapy settings;

• Changing system settings or controls;

• Interfering with locks, sensors, or monitoring equipment.

4.3 The Recovery Lab UK may pursue civil or criminal action for equipment tampering, sabotage, or damage.
4.4 Members must leave the Studio in a clean, hygienic condition after use, including wiping down surfaces, removing towels and waste, and closing doors securely.
4.5 Activities deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or offensive — including but not limited to sexual activity, disorderly conduct, intoxication, drug use, or abusive language — are grounds for immediate termination without refund and possible police involvement.
5. Monitoring & Security
5.1 The Recovery Lab UK reserves the right to use CCTV, audio, and environmental monitoring devices inside and outside the Studio for purposes of safety, compliance, and security.
5.2 By using the Studio, Members consent to being recorded. Recordings may be used as evidence in disputes, investigations, or legal proceedings.
5.3 Any attempt to disable, obstruct, or tamper with recording systems will result in termination and potential criminal charges.
6. Health, Safety & Liability
6.1 Participation in cold water immersion, sauna use, red light therapy, and recovery activities carries inherent risks, including, but not limited to, hypothermia, heat stroke, cardiovascular stress, fainting, burns, slips, falls, or injury.
6.2 Members confirm they are medically fit to participate and accept full responsibility for their own health and well-being.
6.3 The Recovery Lab UK strongly recommends consulting a qualified medical professional before participation, particularly if the Member has cardiovascular disease, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory issues, photosensitivity, epilepsy, or any other relevant condition.
6.4 Members agree to waive any claim against The Recovery Lab UK, its staff, contractors, or affiliates for injuries, illnesses, damages, or losses arising from use of the facilities, except where prohibited by law.
6.5 The Recovery Lab UK is not liable for personal property lost, stolen, or damaged within or around the Studio.
7. Enforcement & Termination
7.1 Breaches of this policy may result in:

• Immediate membership suspension or termination;

• Penalty fees;

• Liability for damages;

• Legal action, including civil claims and criminal prosecution.

7.2 The Recovery Lab UK reserves the absolute right to refuse service, suspend access, or terminate membership at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Breach of this policy;

• Unsafe conduct;

• Non-payment;

• Misrepresentation of identity;

• Behaviour deemed detrimental to staff, equipment, other members, or brand reputation.

8. Online Account & Data
8.1 Members are responsible for safeguarding their myClubhouse login credentials. Any bookings, payments, or activity carried out under a Member's account are deemed to have been made by that Member.
8.2 Members must promptly notify The Recovery Lab UK of any suspected unauthorised access to, or misuse of, their account.
8.3 Personal data held within myClubhouse is processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). MyClubhouse acts as a data processor on our behalf.
8.4 Where booking, payment, or technical issues arise from third-party systems (including myClubhouse or payment providers), The Recovery Lab UK will use reasonable efforts to assist but accepts no liability for outages or errors caused by such third-party systems.
9. Amendments
